What Visibian keeps, what it never does with it, how long it stays, and how to take it with you. Everything on this page describes how the system runs today.
What Visibian keeps
Every answer collected for your portfolios is kept in full, because your trends, comparisons, and evidence are built from it. Alongside the answers: the sources they cited, and the daily counts from any analytics connection.
What it is never used for
- Your data is not used to train or tune any model, ours or anyone else’s.
- Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising.
- Your headline numbers (visibility, position, sentiment, and share of voice) come from your own portfolio’s answers only.
One shared figure, disclosed
The dashed model-shift lines on charts come from answers pooled across customers, so everyone can see when a model changed for all. A line only appears where at least 5 separate portfolios contribute. The pooled table holds no customer identifier, and nothing in it can be traced back to anyone.
The analytics connection
It asks Google Analytics for one read-only permission and pulls daily counts of visits that came from AI answers. It takes no visitor-level records, no IP addresses, and no identifiers. You can revoke it from your Google account at any time without asking us.
The Data Studio connector
If you chart Visibian in Data Studio, your numbers travel from Visibian to Google, where Data Studio draws the report, and Google’s terms cover them there. The connector only reads; it cannot change anything in Visibian.
Taking your data with you
Export is self-service. Each portfolio’s answers download as a file from Export conversations in its row menu. You can also download everything held for the workspaces you own as one file, under Export your data in your account.
How long it is kept
Your data stays as long as your account does. Close the account, and everything attached to it is deleted within 90 days. A deleted portfolio is removed for good after 30 days; until then, support can restore it.
Our logs of the raw exchanges with AI providers are cleared after 90 days; the answers themselves stay with your account. Anonymous scans from the free website check are removed after 6 months.
